Solo Gold gives you the full 24Six Solo experience, with no Wi-Fi. That’s right. Solo Gold is our first ever no Wi-Fi device. You can now listen to music, without any compromise, according to your standards!
So how does it work?
24Six developed a proprietary syncing technology, and Solo Gold can only refresh and sync at designated Solo Connect Stations. We are working with many of your favorite locations, such as pizza shops, Seforim stores, even shuls, to join as Solo Connect Stations. And whenever you are there, Solo Gold connects.
Solo Gold is NOT a pre-loaded Mp3 Player. It is the 24Six Solo experience, without Wi-Fi. Have you ever played Laser Tag? When you run out of ammunition, you go "near" the "recharge station" and it fills you up. We built the same concept. Instead of having to plug Solo Gold into a computer to download your favorite songs, create playlists, etc., you can now just go within 20-50 feet of a Solo Connect Station, and it magically connects to the Solo Connect Station. Once connected, you can browse the entire Solo catalog, create playlists, and of course, DOWNLOAD THEM TO USE when you leave the Connect area.
When you are in range of the Solo Connect Station, you can update your library by checking out any of the newest releases, create new playlists, and download them. Also, while you are refreshing, we can sync all the music you listened to while not connected, and pay your favorite artists for every song you listened to.
As with every 24Six device, you must "check in" once every 30 days, to ensure you still have an active 24Six subscription. To use 24Six, you must have an active subscription. You cannot just download and have the music forever. We pay every frum artist for every song listened to both online and offline regardless of device used. The same will be true for Solo Gold. We pay artists based on subscriptions and streams. Music is not free and it is אסור to download and steal music. When you use 24Six, you are not just listening to only Jewish Music, on an only Kosher device, you are also guaranteed that you will not steal from frum artists. That's why we need you to reconnect once a month. When you are near any Solo Connect Station, our software syncs with your Solo Gold and collects all the listening data since your last connection. We pay artists monthly, so we need that data from your device.
Solo Gold allows Yeshiva/Camp Mode, so you can pre-pay for up to 12 months, and extend your "disconnected" days up to 365 days. If you do not reconnect by the end of your "disconnected/offline" days, Solo Gold will no longer work and will prompt you with a message to find your nearest Solo Connect Station to connect and sync.
The Solo Gold experience is incredible. You don’t have to do anything. It connects out of the box. Of course, you need a 24Six subscription, which has to be set up online on a computer at www.24Six.app. Once you have registered your account, create your profile, including your age, gender, and any content filters you want to set up.
Solo Gold has music, Children's Stories, and Torah Shiurim. There is no Wi-Fi, no SD Card, no Bluetooth data transfer. It is by far the most kosher Mp3 Player ever made.
